PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - HARMONY

This picture brings out harmony because all the different colours & types of flower go well together to create a beautiful bouquet.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - EMPHASIS

I choose this picture as my emphasis, because as you can see the water is a dark colour and also are the lily-pads. What stands out in this picture is the pink lotus flower.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - VARIETY

As you can see, there is a variety of shape, colour and sizes that put this room together.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - PROPORTION

This picture represents proportion because the fisherman and the boat is railing in a big fish that's 10x's the size of the man, when really in reality the fish is usually smaller than the boat.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - BALANCE

This picture is an example of asymmetrical balance because the rocks piled upon one another isn't evened out. Although they are balanced by being piled on top of one rock, but it's not placed in relation to one another so the page balances.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - RHYTHM

The grass and empty space are put together to create a rhythm.

ELEMENTS OF DESIGN - SPACE

This image shows us a various amount of space there is within this room.
